SOTOS (Foundation for the Development of Technical Education in Senegal) focuses on advancing (technical) education in rural Senegal, aiming to reduce migration to major cities and enhance employment opportunities in rural areas. We achieve this by maintaining consistent communication between teachers and students in Senegal and Horst aan de Maas, and collaboratively executing educational projects with the commitment and involvement of regional and national authorities. The CFP (vocational school) and the CEM (senior high school), both located in Sindian, play a central role in these efforts. SOTOS was established in 2003, with the foundation's board comprised of Bouwmensen Training Center, Dendron College, and Peters Construction and Maintenance.
